This Kasabian Video and preceding screen-shots are from the recent track “Days are forgotten”. I don’t normally showcase videos, but times are changing and I’m always looking for ways to inspire you in a variety of ways.

What You May Like About This Music Video

Well, if you’re into mainstream British Indie music, the track itself is fantastic, but what I really like the the effective way that it’s styled. Shot is black & white, the Kasabian Video starts off with a few random wavy and chalk-like lines that are in sync with the song.

As the track progresses, the lines meld into concentric circles, with the whole graphic-appeal of the visuals building-up towards the end. The lines also form graphic equalizer lines’ and mimic the band member’s instruments. Brilliant.

A whole three weeks have passed since initially recording an introductory video—but here it is. After nine takes of mindless blabbering and forgetting what to say, here’s the video as it stands now.

I’ll probably record a new one when time permits, but it’ll do for now. I’m no pro at this kind of stuff, but this video allows you, my blog readers and clients alike to see who I am, what I do—and how dreadful my video making skills are, hehe…

First Video Post: My New Business Card Design

Recently, I had over 4000 My New Business Cards printed, and I had planned to write a post about it. Moreover, I had been toying with the idea of producing a video for this blog for a while now, so I whipped out my HandyCam and filmed this 5-minute video explaining the new business card design.

Okay, it’s my first attempt, so I set the recording resolution too low, it has some random boxes showing at the top of the frame, it was unrehearsed and for some strange reason, I kept saying “urrrr” every 10 seconds. However, I hope you get the gist of what I’m trying the explain.

I discuss the Equest® card I used, 10mm round-cornering, Pantone® spot colors and typography. Here goes:
