Pinteresting Pinterest

Are you on Pinterest? If so, I’m sure you’ll have discovered how useful the new social network is. I’ve been using it now for a few month, and it’s a really useful tool.

I’ve lost track of how many times I discovered some kind of inspiring image that has led me to other works by designers and illustrators alike. It’s often my first port-of-call when I need inspiration for Design Soak Magazine.

For a current collection of almost 500 pins, you can follow me on Pinterest.

Are you on Pinterest? Do you find it useful? Please leave your comment below…

I am on Pin, and thus far have found it to be a good site. I have used it to create boards for my new office decorating. As well as a plan to renovate the basement.

I also curate the Dimplex North American Pin account, this is the first time I am trying to use a brand for an account, and engage our current online users.

It’s too early to tell whether it’s going to stick or be useful, but it has been fun!

Chad → My living room needs decorating, but I dare not tell my wife about Pinterest, or she’ll be “inspired” by someones else’s Pin board, hehe!

I think Pinterest is useful, but I reckon its more useful to some sites, blogs and services than others. For example on my other site http://www.DesignSoak.com I now receive more hits on Pinterest than Google organic traffic!

I hope using the service goes well for your brand…
