I’ve had the concept for this poster in-mind for many months now. It’s based on the premise that it doesn’t matter what order the letters of a word are in—just as long as the first and last letters are in the correct place (according to researchers at Cambridge University).

For example, try reading this:

Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn’t mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

Cool huh? I thought so too. My thinking is that the sentence on the poster design should read “You Can Read Better Than I Can Design Posters“. I hope no explanation is necessary regarding to humorous nature of the design (?) The image below shows some detail from the poster, with a slightly-patterned background effect.

Recently, I designed a RSS Feed Cube Icon for one of my sites. Now that I’ve used it once, it seems a shame to have the original vector Illustrator file just hanging around on my Mac—so I’m making it available to anyone who wants it.

There’s one file provided (with 12 colour variations of the same cube supplied) in .EPS and .AI formats—so they’re is fully editable, re-scalable and re-colourable…if there is such a word.
