Great to hear and see you in the flesh so to speak Andrew.

I think you did just fine, its hard for us designers to do these kinds of things. The time will come that I’ll put one together soon (ish) as it does bridge that gap between blog and actual person, good work.

@Andrew → I’m always tweaking here and there, Us designer’s are either never satisfied, or just get bored with the design, lol. I see you’ve updated yours, too.

I’m going well thanks. I took a couple of weeks away from doing project work, for the most part. I also cut down on Mac-time to spend time with my family over Christmas, Just did a couple of posts, but didn’t end of having time to write one of those “Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2010″ articles. Hows things going for yourself?

You’re right! When the time is right and I can get a hold of a video camera, I should post a video myself but I’m from sweden so when you get nervous you start to stutter, when I get nervous I’ll most likely forget major parts of the english language.

@David → It’d be great if all bloggers did one of these. I can remember seeing your first video, and it was weird in a way, as I (and I assume many others) tend to build up an image in our own minds about how people are, but just based upon the words they write (I hope that makes sense).

I just watched Jacob Cass’s Vimeo about 4 logo design books ( http://www.vimeo.com/5162108 ) and I realised that he “ums” and “urrrs” as much as myself. So, I think this is probably natural, as it’s not just me, hehe. Next time, I’ll definitely plan out before hand what I want to say…

@Chris → I think that next time, I’ll have some kind of cue card or something, which highlights the main areas of topic I should be talking about. Maybe my videos will then be more rigid, though. I’ll see what happens.

40+ videos—that’s a lot. When I reach that many (or if), I’ll take a look at this video and note the difference, hehe.

Lovely to meet you Andrew, it’s always great to gain a feel for fellow designers’ personalities through video that a profile shot just doesn’t offer.

I an definitely relate to the video ‘nerves’, my brain still shuts off mid sentence even after the 40+ vids I’ve recorded over the past few months. It does at least get a little more comfortable over time though
